Vancouver, BC, Canada - December 5, 2005 Exhibit A: Design Group honoured for the 2nd consecutive year at the National Post Design Exchange Awards Vancouver's Exhibit A: Design Group's brand design for Capsoles™ Podiatric Clogs and Accessories was awarded Bronze in the category of 'Visual Communications' at the National Post Design Exchange Awards. A gala event was held in Toronto on November 29th at the Design Exchange - Canada's Design Museum. "It is an honour to be recognized for such a prestigious national award two consecutive years in a row", says Cory Ripley, co-founding principal of Exhibit A. "This award program is meaningful to us because it recognizes, not only aesthetics, but the significant role that design plays in achieving specific strategic goals". Winners are selected in each of seven categories, including Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Urban Design, Fashion Design, New Media, Visual Communications, Engineering, and Landscape Architecture. The panels of judges include leading business executives, distinguished members of the design profession and community leaders. The competition is Canada's only awards program to judge design by results; balancing function, aesthetics and economic success. Finalists are chosen through a submission process which must include a comprehensive design rationale, along with images of the project. The winning entries are exhibited at the Design Exchange from November 29th - December 31st, 2005, and announced in the National Post. The winning project - branding the world's first at-home orthotic clog - included name creation, identity design, business collateral, product development, colour consultation, packaging, tradeshow exhibit, and an ecommerce website.
